A smooth painted wall or something with texture. Start with the surface, the building and the finish you have in mind.
A fresh surface.
A clean beginning.
A thin finishing layer of gypsum plaster over a suitable existing surface, backing plaster or plasterboard. It gives walls and ceilings a smooth surface for decorating once dry.

- Refreshing sound walls and ceilings, or finishing new plasterboard.
- Before you choose
- The surface underneath needs to be sound and properly prepared. Skimming does not correct every underlying defect.
